AlphaBlock Technologies Inc. (“AlphaBlock”, “we”) operates a1phablock.com. This notice explains what personal data we collect, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.
AlphaBlock Technologies Inc. is the data controller for personal data collected through this site. You can reach us at contact@a1phablock.com.
TO CONFIRM Registered office address and jurisdiction of incorporation to be inserted here. If you appoint an EU or UK representative under Article 27 GDPR, name them here too.
Information you give us. When you use the contact form we collect your name, email address, organisation, role, the subject you select, and anything you write in the message field. When you request a copy of the book, we collect the same details plus your postal address if you provide one.
Information collected automatically. If — and only if — you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects device and browser type, approximate location derived from a truncated IP address, pages viewed, and referring site. We enable IP anonymisation. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not run remarketing, and we do not sell or share personal data with data brokers.
If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is collected. Declining does not limit your use of the site.
To respond to enquiries — lawful basis: legitimate interests (responding to someone who has contacted us about our services), or steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.
To send materials you ask for, such as an overview deck or a copy of the book — lawful basis: legitimate interests, or your consent where you have asked to be kept informed.
To understand how the site is used — lawful basis: your consent, given through the cookie banner and withdrawable at any time.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
Formspree — receives and forwards contact-form submissions. Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — site analytics, only with your consent. Our hosting provider stores and serves the site.
Some of these providers are located outside the UK/EEA, including in the United States. Where that is the case, transfers rely on the UK/EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy decision.
TO CONFIRM Confirm the hosting provider and add any other processor you use — CRM, email marketing, calendar/scheduling (Calendly is linked from the site), or document delivery.
Enquiry correspondence is retained for up to 24 months from our last contact with you, after which it is deleted unless we have an ongoing business relationship or a legal reason to keep it. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months.
If you are in the UK or EEA you have the right to access your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Exercising any of these rights is free and will not disadvantage you.
To make a request, email contact@a1phablock.com. We respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you may complain to your national data protection authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
We use one strictly necessary item — a record of your cookie choice, stored locally in your browser so we do not ask again. No consent is required for this and it is not used for tracking.
Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) are set only after you click Accept. To change your mind, clear this site’s data in your browser settings and the banner will reappear.
If we change this notice materially we will update the date above and, where the change affects how we use data you have already given us, contact you directly.
